Every Golden is raised in our home with our children. From the minute they are whelped, they have interaction with all of our family members. Early human contact is essential in raising a gentle, loyal pet.
Goldens by nature are family oriented, they strive to please you every day. But don’t let their gentle, docile behavior fool you, they also make excellent hunting companions in that they are awesome retrievers, after all they were bred to retrieve.
When sporting, you will see a whole different side to this breed. They suddenly become focused, self-disciplined and alert to every movement. Although I do not sport my dogs, several of my Goldens have proven to be top notch fowl retrievers for their new owners!
