Welcome! Truffles is our big, beautiful, smart bundle of fluff!  After breeding goldens for many years, I have decided to add the Old English Sheepdog to my passion of creating sound, healthy family pets.  I do not breed for conformation or titles, I breed for health, beauty, and to create an Old English that will remain with it's "forever family" for that dogs lifetime.  It is important to understand the commitment and work(yes they are work) it takes in raising an Old English.  Considerable time must be spent on their coats and although they do not require as much exercise as some other breeds, they do best when they have a large area to romp in and plenty of exercise.  These dogs should not be outside dogs that are chained to a tree!  They thrive indoors living with their family.  Old Englishes can grow to be very large dogs.  Although most experts will tell you an adult Old English will grow to weigh 60 to 90 pounds, many will tip the scales at 80 pounds and beyond.  Truffles currently weighs 88 pounds(before pregnancy)and doesn't think twice about jumping onto  my lap!  Truffles is a very sweet dog that is quite comical to watch. If you think you would like to add one of my Old Englishes  to your life you can contact me through e-mail at mtennant115@comcast.net or by phone @ 989-551-6742.  I would prefer that you come and meet the puppies before choosing one but would be more than happy to try to match the right puppy to you.  Puppies can not leave before 7weeks and I will not put a puppy on a flight before eight weeks.  Our vet comes right to our home to administer the puppies' first set of vaccines and worming medication.  Each puppy is sold with their akc papers, veterinary records, a puppy kit wich includes puppy food(Purina puppy chow), and their own individual puppy blanket with mom's scent lovingly attached!
